During your visit you will spend some time outside – make sure to check the weather forecast prepare appropriate clothing.
The Museum does not run a cloak room and does not offer luggage lockers.
Considering the grim history of SS-Sonderkommando Sobibor, visiting the Museum by people under the age 14 is not recommended
During your visit to the Museum and Memorial in Sobibór, make sure to dress and behave in a way that is appropriate for a cemetery and the Holocaust site. Please remember that on the Museum grounds it is forbidden to: bring pints (with the exception of assistance dogs), smoking tobacco and e-cigarettes, and to light candles in the areas other than designated by the Museum staff. Please read the Visiting Rules and Regulations carefully.

The Museum is located near the village named Stacja Kolejowa Sobibór, around 18 kilometres from the town of Włodawa, near the provincial roads nos. 812 and 816 (DW812/DW816). Sobibór is located nearly 100 kilometres from Lublin. The route to the Museum is locally marked with information boards. You can park directly on the Museum grounds. Parking is free of charge.
During the summer holidays season (late June – the end of August) you can use a railway transfer on the Chełm-Włodawa railway line, which stops at the Sobibór station. Passengers can use it on every Saturday and Sunday as well as on 15 August. You can check the current train timetable here: https://rozklad-pkp.pl/

Remember that you can only get to Włodawa in that way, and then to reach the Museum in Sobibór, you must take a taxi.
