Romuald Dylewski died on January 7. He was an urbanist who rendered great service especially to the urban development of Lublin and Lublin region, honorary member of the Society of Polish Urbanists and Association of Polish Architects, author of many works in the field of city and region planning.

He was an author of the present spatial development of the State Museum at Majdanek and the original one at the memorial site in Sobibór. For many years he was a member of the Museum Board at the State Museum at Majdanek, offering us his professional support and aid. He also was a member of the jury whose aim was to choose a new concept for the architectural and spatial arrangement of the memorial site on the grounds of the former Nazi German death camp in Sobibór.
