The number of people who visited the State Museum at Majdanek in the last five years increased by nearly 50%. In 2017, 239,149 people came to the institution.

Among them there were 144,284 visitors from Poland. It is a significant increase in comparison with 2016, when there were 25 thousand Poles less at the Museum. Among almost 95 thousand foreigners, the top countries from which the visitors come are: Israel (65,000), USA (7,000), Germany (3,500) and France (2,500).
