Catalog of the permanent exhibition "SS-Sonderkommando Sobibor"

We present the latest publication of the State Museum at Majdanek - Catalog of the permanent exhibition "SS-Sonderkommando Sobibor". The publication accompanies the permanent exhibition at the Museum and Memorial in Sobibór, which by means of hundreds of artifacts, documents, photographs, and accounts recalls the memory of around 180,000 Jews – men, women, and children sentenced to cruel death because of their ancestry.

The catalogue is an excellent compendium for the audience of the exhibition, allowing interested persons to deepen their knowledge about the history of the former German death camp in Sobibór. Each chapter of the publication is an extension of sixteen thematic panels around which the narrative is built. The catalogue contains extensive iconography: reproductions of historical photographs and documents, maps; photographs of the most significant objects and views of the exhibition.

The printing of the catalogue was financed by the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany. The book is available in Polish and English.

Only until December 15, the catalog is available with a 50% discount in our online bookstore
